Code of Conduct & Policies
Below is a list of rules and guidelines regarding conduct and safety at Fayhaven LARP. All players are required to read the following and accept these terms and conditions upon purchasing a ticket to this event. Fayhaven reserves the right to remove any player from the game for violating these policies.

Players must be at least 15 years of age to attend this event. Players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.

The venue for Fayhaven 2024 does not permit alcohol on the premises. We must respect this policy so we reserve the right to remove any player found with alcohol from the game.

Absolutely no illegal drugs are permitted at this event. Despite the recent legalization of marijuana in Ohio, the venue for Fayhaven 2024 has a policy prohibiting it on the property. If any illegal or prohibited substances are found, any players connected to them will be immediately removed from the game and the authorities will be contacted if necessary. This is a zero tolerance policy. Any prescription medication must be kept in its original container with its owner’s name clearly visible.

Smoking tobacco pipes is permitted outdoors but players should always be respectful of others and confirm that those in close proximity are comfortable with it.
There will be a designated area for smoking cigarettes. Smoking cigarettes is not permitted anywhere else on the property. An ashtray will be provided in the designated smoking area. Improper disposal of cigarette butts will not be tolerated.

Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated at Fayhaven. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic. Harassment in any form, including verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, will result in immediate removal from the game and removal from the property with no refund. This is a zero tolerance policy.
If you experience or witness any form of harassment, please report it to staff immediately. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and we will take all reports of harassment seriously and act swiftly to address the issue.

Firearms are not permitted at this event. Real steel swords or other weapons are not permitted at this event. Tools such as small hatchets, knives, or cooking utensils are permitted for utility purposes but must be kept in your camp area at all times.

We are not responsible/liable for any theft or loss of personal property that may occur at this event. Players are encouraged to take precautions to safeguard their belongings, such as keeping valuables secure and not leaving them unattended.
If you believe your belongings have been stolen or lost during the event, please report it to staff immediately. We will do our best to assist in locating any missing items, but we cannot guarantee their recovery.

By attending this event, you are consenting to the use of photos and videos taken at the event for promotional/marketing purposes. If you have any concerns about the use of your image, please contact us prior to the event for further clarification.

All fires at this event must be contained in raised fire pits and attended at all times. If you see an unattended fire and are not able to monitor it yourself, please alert a staff member.

Refrain from feeding, approaching, touching, harassing, or provoking any wildlife you may encounter at this event. Always keep your camp clean and keep food safely stored. Please promptly report any wildlife-related incidents to staff.
