Tournaments
In-game, the event takes place during the town of Fayhaven’s Harvest Moon Festival, where the townspeople celebrate the harvest with songs, dances, games, and tournaments. Each culture hosts a tournament for the festival. Any player of any culture can participate in a tournament. Tournaments are a great way to represent your culture and give yourself a chance to win honor, prestige, and a healthy dose of shillings!
Crafting Competition
This will be an opportunity for crafters, inventors, and tinkerers to show off their crafting skills for a chance to win shillings! This event is hosted by the Dwarves and any culture can participate.
Participants will be presenting and demonstrating their entries to a panel of judges. Each entry will be required to meet the following criteria:
The entry must incorporate at least 3 different crafting materials.
The entry must have multiple functions, including at least one hidden function.
The entry must have a maker’s mark.
Entries will be judged on the following categories:
Function (How well does it perform the functions it was created for?)
Aesthetic (How good does it look? What quality is the craftsmanship?)
Complexity (How complex is it to create? The more complex, the better!)
Theme (How well does it tie into the theme of the competition?)
The theme for this year's competition is “Travel.”

Mossball
Invented by Gnomes, the game of Mossball is an exhilarating sport that has become a favorite pastime for the townsfolk of Fayhaven. The game is played on a circular field with two teams competing to possess the mossball and score by shooting it into one of two goals situated at the center of the field, each worth a different value based on difficulty. Each year, the Gnomes host a mossball tournament for the Harvest Moon Festival. Get ready to put together your team for a chance to claim the trophy!
Combat Tournament
Want a chance to test your mettle against some of Fayhaven’s most skilled fighters? Hop into the arena to participate in the Combat Tournament, hosted by the Kingsguard! Try your hand in one-on-one matches with various weapon types or fight side-by-side with your friends in the team battles. Not interested in participating yourself? Come cheer on your favorites fighters and maybe even place some bets on who you think will emerge victorious!
Battle of the Bards
Have you ever wanted to delight a tavern full of cheering townsfolk? Look no further than Fayhaven’s yearly Battle of the Bards, a performance-based competition hosted each year by the Humans during the Harvest Moon Festival. Tune your instruments and sharpen your wits to compete against other acts in the noblest of pursuits- the entertainment of the masses! Winners will be chosen by a panel of respected judges. Come and perform or come and enjoy the show- there’s something for everyone at the Battle of the Bards!
Archery Tournament
Prove your skill and precision in the Archery Tournament, hosted by the Elves of Fayhaven! Archers from near and far are invited to prove their prowess with a bow by competing in accuracy, distance, and speed challenges. Come one and all to participate in this tourney or to cheer on your favorite archers!
Cooking Contest
Join the Halflings of Fayhaven for a most delectable competition. Every participating team will create a dish using a Dutch oven and an open flame. The two prizewinning categories will be sweet and savory, with a winner in each. Dishes will be judged by their overall toothsomeness. Competing teams will be asked to present a list of ingredients for their consumers. Partake of the competition by lending your culinary skills or your bellies- both equally delightful!
